    This four day technologist focused course is held at the Institute of Advanced Imaging in Irvine, California. The pre-requisite online course is a knowledge check based on multi-slice technology. This instructor led course is designed as to be interactive with plenty of hands-on experience on fully-functional equipment to facilitate a smooth transition to your new CT system. This program utilizes the latest Canon Aquilion ONE: Genesis Edition Advanced CT system. At the completion of the course you will be proficient in the following applications and operations: principles of volumetric and helical acquisition, protocol and parameter manipulation, image processing and workflows for basic and advanced imaging studies. This course is all inclusive: tuition, airfare (booked by Canon), lodging and meals.

    This Cardiac CT program offers 20 hours of didactic lectures on patient selection, preparation, imaging principles and techniques, contrast material, cardiac anatomy, assessment of cardiac function and pathology. Training activities include observation of the acquisition of 50 patient examinations and hands on 3D post processing sessions. A review of over 150 Coronary CTA cases to demonstrate the variety of pathology which can be evaluated by CT. A minimum of 100 cases will be reviewed during the 5 days of the course. Participants will be evaluated by means of practical tests demonstrating proficiency with the use of the workstation. A home study program follows the onsite training. Interpretation of 50 case studies and other elements of the course are submitted for course completion while monitored by the education department.     This ten day clinical biomed engineer-focused course held at the Institute of Advanced Imaging in Irvine, CA provides theory of operation, maintenance and repair for Canon’s Aquilion PRIME CT system. The course blends hands-on lab exercises with in-depth lectures. At the completion of this course, you will be proficient at performing the following: service techniques, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and system adjustments. Students must bring notebook computers equipped with Pentium-class CPUs, 10GB of hard disk space, Windows 7, DVD/CD-ROM drive, a serial port (RS232), crossover serial cable, and Ethernet wired network connectivity. Laptops are not available to borrow or rent during class. Course pricing includes tuition only. Airfare, meals, and lodging are not included.
