This 12 hour (over 3 days) technologist-focused course is conducted by way of the Canon Institute of Advanced Imaging online remote classroom, provides the fundamentals of operating Canon’s 1.5T or 3T MR system. This course includes in-depth lectures and real-time simulator training of their system’s interface which allows the attendees to interact with the system’s software. At the completion of the course, you will have a basic understanding of the System Operations and M-Power Image Software applications. Accredited for Category A CE credits by the ASRT Education Foundation. Actual CE's earned are dependent on specific student participation.

At the completion of the course, you will be proficient in the following applications and operations: system operations, clinical applications imaging, M-Power image software applications. This course is all inclusive of the following: tuition, airfare (booked by Canon), lodging, and meals. Accredited for Category A CE credits by the ASRT Education Foundation. This is a 3 day course for technologists that are currently working on either the Canon 1.5 or 3T systems. This course provides a foundation of Cardiac anatomy and physiology, patient preparation, coil positioning, patient positioning, parameter selections, and slice set-up/positioning. Advanced concepts include, ecg gating, cine imaging, “black blood,” retrospective gating, flow, and tagging techniques. Hands-on scanning activities will take place throughout the course’s training.

Accredited category A CE credits by the ASRT Education Foundation.

This course is all-inclusive: tuition, airfare (booked by Canon), lodging, and meals.
