Optimization of Breast Sonography

Description: Sonography of the breast is extremely technique and operator dependent. We will discuss proper equipment, system optimization and proper scanning techniques. This session will also provide in-depth information on which women can benefit most from breast ultrasound, as an adjunct to mammography; illustrate the complementary roles of mammography and ultrasound; and discuss the latest developments in breast ultrasound technology and their applications.

Objectives:
Upon completion of this presentation, participants will be able to:

  • Identify normal sonographic breast anatomy
  • Correlate palpable abnormalities with sonographic findings
  • Correlate mammographic abnormalities with sonographic findings
  • Determine goals and indications for targeted breast ultrasound

Optimization of Breast Sonography

Description: During this presentation, we’ll be covering three different applications to get a complete Cardiac Workflow. We’ll start by scoring cardiac vessels, and then move into an application called Cardiac Multi Vessel. By the end of this presentation, we’ll demonstrate how to select the appropriate vessels for the exam, the criteria to score the vessels into one of the three guideline reporting data graphs, and the process to generate critical reports.
