Tools for Infinix-I Angiography Systems


Description:  Canon Medical Systems is committed to help the operator manage and reduce dose
during diagnostic and interventional procedures. This course will outline specific information on the
safe and effective use of your Canon Medical System’s Infinix-i Angiography system. The information
provided during this course will make the operator more aware of the potential risks of using ionizing
radiation during angiography procedures and he/she will receive specific information to aid in dose
reduction to both the patient and the operator. The course will discuss radiation dose optimization
techniques and tools and the available dose control and monitoring technologies.

for Aquilion CT Systems


Description: Canon Medical Systems is committed to help the operator manage and reduce dose
during Computed Tomography procedures. This course will outline specific information on the safe
and effective use of your Canon Medical System’s Aquilion CT system. The information provided
during this course will make the operator more aware of the potential risks of using ionizing radiation
during procedures and he/she will receive specific information to aid in dose reduction to both the
patient and the operator. The course will discuss radiation dose optimization techniques and tools
and the available dose control and monitoring technologies.

Renal Non-Contrast MRA Time-SLIP

Description: In this presentation we will be discussing Canon Medical’s third generation
non-contrast MRA technique of the renal arteries called Time-SLIP, or Time-Spatial Labeling
Inversion Pulse. The objectives of this presentation is to train the user on the principles of
Time-SLIP, how to set up the patient and coils within the MRI magnet, description of the
respiratory-gated sequence used for imaging the renal arteries, proper planning of the imaging
volume and tag pulses, as well as a basic understanding of the BBTI values and how to
troubleshoot and adjust according to the patient’s condition.
